My name is Vanessa, I am French and I live on the shores of Lake Geneva. Certified and experienced French teacher (over 12 years in education already!), I have had the opportunity to teach FLS (French as a Second Language) and FLsco (French as a language of schooling) in France, as well as FLE (French as a Foreign Language) abroad. I have notably taught French in an elementary school in Louisiana, USA, for 5 years.
I am a versatile teacher because in addition to teaching FLE, I am a school coach for children in difficulty, notably in MECS. I am a proponent of active learning ("learning by doing"). That's why I set up a variety of pedagogical activities, and ideally playful ones, on topics close to the learners.

I come from Senegal, where I learned French and Wolof as my mother tongues. I moved to France nearly 20 years ago, and I did a Master's to become a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher. I have since worked with a diverse audience (children, teenagers, adults, migrants), both in-person and online.
